"Why I Am Leaving Goldman Sachs"

This is what I read this morning about ex-Stanford student left the world famous investment bank, Goldman Sachs. Reading through the article, I found his opinion interesting;

'culture was always a vital part of Goldman Sachs's success. It revolved around teamwork, integrity, a spirit of humility, and always doing right by our clients. The culture was the secret sauce that made this place great and allowed us to earn our clients' trust for 143 years. It wasn't just about making money; this alone will no sustain a firm for so long. It had something to do with pride and belief in the organization. I am sad to say that I look around today and see virtually no trace of the culture that made me love working for this firm for many years. I no longer have he pride, or the belief.'

As the global economy changes rapidly today, firms also need change to adapt the global norms. It seems Goldman Sachs loses their spirit as they are changing their culture, which remains us a question: Old fashioned spirit culture is out of date even though they have been succeeding from that?

Easter Holiday

Most classes have been over since last week so the Easter holiday is coming soon within a week!
I have not decided my plan yet but do need furthermore study for my dissertation and required assignments. Staying all the time in my room exhausts me so I might be flying to somewhere in Europe to get refreshed!
